All the rear seat deletes I've seen are flimsy, except for some wood DIY ones. And there are many that have no reviews at all. Who makes an aftermarket one that will not collapse under the weight of a big dog or a couple of spare wheels? Super thin plastic or cardboard isn't doing it. A strong platform will actually turn this into usable space.

Not interested in building my own.

Thanks.

FWIW, I've carried wheels and a tool box on the ABS rear seat delete. I even tried sitting on it momentarily and didn't feel any issues. For a dog or wheels those should be fine. If anything, put something under the bottom piece in the 2 seats areas so that there's less deflection on the plastic. In the middle there's no issue as that's where the trans tunnel holds the piece nicely.

There's no plywood aftermarket units currently on the market that I'm aware of. Just ABS or the molded carpet ala the 350R.

Which brand did you buy? There's a few out there. I saw a couple in the wild, but one guy didn't know the brand and the other was home built.

I had the shrader performance one, both on my S550 and previously on a GTO and both were extensively used in carrying track wheels, tools and jacks.
