Little did I know when I placed my order I would be a wee bit peeved when my car showed up yesterday. BECAUSE I didn't want heated seats and the etc. (summer car only) in the 200A package I went down and dirty with the 100A package..

YA DON'T GET THE COOL TOGGLES....DAM, I LOVE THOSE LEVERS!

AND while with the push of a button I can change the steering feel...for as much as I tried to find how to change the drive modes...pushing all the buttons on the steering column didn't help...and I know more than the salesman knows, I now need direction or info if the Eco PP Auto has the Drive modes and how to find the pesky little buggers! I suppose I could read the owners manual tonight after I take delivery!

Stupid Me..! Ok you wise and experienced Mustang owners....enlighten me pleez!

BTW...the Ceramic Interior is pretty cool....it's like a putty color..very nice contrast with the interior...hmmmm...not good if you have young kids unless it's leather I'm guessing.

Thanks for that....I'd be pulling my hair out (with whats left of it) pouring through the 200 plus page owners manual. Gotta believe with the PP it's already operating in the Sport Driving Mode.

what car color did you get? Mine is DIB...I'll post some pics this week...I'm going to do a doll up over the weekend and really can't wait to get her stripes done Monday..pics after that.

I gotta mention in my maiden 15 minute drive...this car is SOOOO easy to drive, so co-operative, point and shoot...very predictable...gonna be an awesome everyday driver that wants to find the twisty narly roads to work and back!

EDD was 11/10 before it disappeared last week. Dealer says as soon as 11/7. Ford service says it's no longer in Michigan and on the move....I'm going nutzo! :frusty:

Someone did mention a while back that you have to turn on/off different settings to get to those mode settings. Even though it will never say/display Sport or Track mode, you can get those modes by making adjustments to your settings

Base 100a and 300a steering adjustment and turning traction control off is as good as it gets.

Spartan wrote this in a different thread but never provided a link. PM him.

"You can actually replicate the majority of the drive modes that the 4th toggle does by turning certain steering modes on off, traction control on/off, etc. SalJc actually went over a few of the drive modes and how to replicate them on a base model."

See owners manual ;) base models don't have selectable drive modes.

When did you place your order? The order book with the description of what comes in the Premium trim has been around since early June, or late May.

That I did not know. Tried it on a test drive in a CO Premium, didn't think I'd use it much, good to know I can still do that on my GT base when it arrives. I thought it was a complicated configure in the information settings. Thanks. I will be reading through the rest of the Owner's Manual while I wait for delivery.

Owners manual makes it as clear as mud...

"Some models may also come equipped
with a sport mode which allows the driver
to reduce normal AdvanceTrac system
intervention and provide a more spirited
driving experience. To enter sport mode,
toggle the stability control button twice
rapidly. The message appears in the
information display that the system is now
in sport mode."

Add to the confusion the terms "AndvanceTrac", "Electronic Stability Control" and "Traction Control" all apart of a single button(toggle).
It all starts on page of 142 of the owners manual if someone smarter than me can make sense of it. "Some models" may refer to performance package equipped vehicles.
