Installed the brace but it does barely touch the intake on my car

Did you add spacers? Also what K brace did you buy?

Better view of where it touches. I did not add any spacers.

That little of a gap? Is it safe?

I think some spacers should clear for you, also imagine since your running procharger kit, the engine would move more due to the power its producing.

Id say a couple washers stacked would do it

I added a couple washers and it no longer touches the intake but does touch the mat under the hood but I doubt that will hurt anything. I'll drive it a couple days like this and report back.

Bout time you cleaned that motor lol. Looks awesome. Hows everyday driving with the blower? Is it alot more peppy around town at partial throttle?

Way peppier at any touch of the throttle. It really makes the car a ton more fun!!

Does someone here have the ability to fabricate spacers like this? I would much rather use spacers than the washers I am currently using.

Looks good DR. I want to do this, but everytime I read about it I am concerned about washers/spacers and stressing the bolts. You are moving the point of force application up the shaft of the bolt, creating a higher moment/stress. Maybe it's fine, I dont know. Let us know how it works out.

IMO the k brace does the majority of work and since the spacer would go on top of that I don't think it additionally stresses the bolts.
