Anyone fitted one yet and if so, which one?

I went to fit my Steeda brace this morning and it doesn't seem to want to go on. It won't clear part of the factory bracing which I assume is because our battery and abs units have been swapped over and therefore the clearances are slightly different to the US cars.

I'll be emailing Steeda but thought I'd ask you lot first.

I have been told the Steeda Strut Tower Brace and all other USA sourced Strut Tower Braces, will only fit LHD USA spec cars.

The RHD export spec cars have a different K Brace that will not allow the LHD Strut Brace to fit.

I've got the FRPP strut and K brace in the garage, was hoping I would only need to fit the strut having seen the UK RHD version had a K brace. Hopefully I'll not have to fit the two parts, maybe none of them will fit!

Interesting since when looking the engine bays there seems to be no difference between the US and EU versions. I would have thought it would fit just fine. I see no reason as to why it would not. Have you tried it?

As I said, our battery and abs units are on the opposite sides to yours, as such I think the K brace is a mirror image too and as the strut brace is made to fit the LHD car it doesn't fit our RHD ones.

I'll post a couple of pics up later so you can see how far out it is.

That's a relief, can you post a couple of pics? Some close ups of where it's tied down on the strut tower, thanks.

It's possible I guess but all four holes line up absolutely perfectly so I'm assuming it's correct.

It's definitely not the same as the CJ one though.

*goes off to check the Steeda website

Steeda has the same pic with just 3 fixings each end. Looks like it's the wrong brace. I guess that's good news as it means no removing or modifying anything to get it to fit. Bit annoying as it was ordered and arrived with a whole other bunch of stuff from them. Worried now the rest of it is correct as they're not as easy to check as undoing 8 nuts and fitting the part!

The previous generation GT500 brace has 4 holes each end, that's the only one I can think of.

So here's the one I have which definitely is not the one in the pics on Steeda's or CJ's websites. Mine has four holes each end as opposed to three.

Here's the pic of the instructions which clearly show a 2015 engine bay. The ends of the brace aren't especially clear otherwise I might been able to tell the differences.

And here's a pic taken from the view of the driver's door mirror showing it on the car and how far out it is as it's resting on the K-brace.

I assumed it was the right part since all the holes lined up but looking at Steeda's and CJ's websites it would appear it's not.

In fact, looking on Steeda's website I can't see my strut brace on there at all!

I ordered the Steeda brace through CJ Pony parts as well, I also received the one with 4 holes each side, I assumed they must have changed the design on the brace, I have sent a question to CJ asking why it is different to the one on their website?
