Stripes installation quote

So I contacted a vinyl installation shop that's local to get a quote on getting my stripes installed. Here's the response I received. By the way I plan to buy the stripes through big worm:

Hello Sam,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for the delay!

We do not work with outside kits. However, we can install this with our vinyl here. This would be $1,200.

Our next available date is Friday or Saturday November 13-14.

That's insane, I went to big worm last week and the install and stripes was about $360 total

Who knew things were that expensive in NYC? Here's what you need to do; buy the stripes from Big Worm and make appointment, take a week's vacation time and drive your GT to Fort Worth, have Big Worm install in their shop. Enjoy the great weather and BBQ down here. Drive back to NY with admiring glances all the way home. Same money spent as that NYC shop. Great trip and enduring stripes!

Maybe we can pay to fly a tech from Big Worm to NY and have him do a couple of our cars.

Thats too much, a vinyl wrapping shot down here in southern california gave me a quote of about 400-500 for their own vinyl. applying the big worm stripes should take no more than 2 hours max

Hahaha very well thought out Hollow man. My sister in law lives in Dallas so wife would def be up for that trip.

Yeah I figured it was ridiculous. I'm going to get a quote from Ford Dealership to see their price as well as another shop that I suggested to sandpiper earlier "631coating".

Depending on the stripes it should be in the $150-300(tops) range to get them installed.

Can us NYers chip in and fly someone down here for a weekend from Bigworm? I bet you with flight and hotel included between 2 people the install will still be cheaper. Lol!
