Curious, can one buy a car with stripes, where it is installed from factory?
Or, is it always manually installed by the dealer...?

Any shop that deals in appearance mods will install stripes. Most places that detail cars will also put em on.

I don't care for stripes; too many tuner boys running around with Corollas with stripes and big wings. But, it's your car, do as you like (you don't seem convinced they're for you--that should tell you something).

The matte stripe looks great, but, I’m not sure how it is going to look on your hood.

I'm guessing serious  Anyway, Blue Moon love your strips but that white trunk panel is awesome and different. Very, very nice overall.
Trunk panel is ingot silver, I bought it pre-painted from AM. The dirt that sticks to it is a lot less obvious than on the original gloss black.

Pretty low key and tasteful.
Your hood may not give the same effect with stipes

My 16 GT came with the $475 "Over the top" black stripes from the factory, and I think I will leave them after considering removing them initially. They are solid black on the roof, and slowly fade into a gradient the closer to the nose and tail they get. Zay, this could be something you could consider, with the fade going from solid black matte to gloss black with the red. It is a cool effect.

I agree, I'm a fan of the Fade Stripes.
I let my wife talk me out of a Grabber Blue with Fades because it was a manual.

However, I don't care for the Stripes over the top.
My '15 Camaro didn't have them, so I put these on sans the top.
I also stopped short deliberately on the hood at the windshield, so there is a purpose 1" gap.

Those hocky sticks stickers are 1 reason I opted fro the stage 2 Roush and added a SC instead. Stopped off to see a Ruby one this weekend at Roush (company owned Roush), with all those stickers, and it just didn't look as good or clean. Stay the way you are.

Instead of peel on stripes... how about a nice paint job:
