Strange noise

Question for everyone. I am hearing a noise coming from the left front side of the my car. It sounds like a clanking noise like something is loose. The car seems to drive ok, but it's kind of annoying. Any ideas on what it could be?

I don't have a floor jack and jack stands to look underneath the car to see. A buddy of mine is going to look at the car on Wednesday.
