What would your honesy opinion be on the S550 having only costmetic mods and no performance mods at all? Not even lowering springs and having the stock airbox and full stock exhaust?

In my opinion it's just fine. 460HP on the street may not be that much these days but it's plenty for me, given you can go from 0-jail pretty quick as it is. IMO most of the performance mods that aren't adding boost give you pretty minor gains. Unless we're talking suspension, which if you just daily drive you won't appreciate some of those mods as much as if you track the car.

I would say that cars owner doesn't push it too hard and that's ok. The stock PP suspension gave me a floaty feeling in the rear in turns speed, nose dive in braking, and wheel hop on hard acceleration I did not care for any of it and solved those issues

It's your car, do with it what you will. The way I see it, cars were built specifically for the HP and suspension that they come with. Sure, you can tweak it a bit, but there is a limit to how far you can push things. The further you push, the closer you get to the breaking point.

As far as cosmetic mods go. For the love of god, please stay away from the stupid shit like scissor doors or 26 in rims...

Most people do the appearance modifications. "Setting your style". That's why people buy Mustangs, so many choices. By all means make it your car. Just do it for you, not what other people tell you to do. If it doesn't work out, take off mod and try again.

My stock S550 was acceptable, but I did remove the resonators.
I'm happy with it, no more mods needed except the odometer (I keep changing the numbers)..............!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, there's absolutely no need for any more power. Even the Porsche GT3 has been stuck with 500HP for a while, which is almost as much as our car. Yes, they're lighter and quicker/faster, but it's also many times more expensive. As mentioned, there are many other areas of improvements before the power. For what I wanted it, my fully loaded Bullitt is pretty much the best manual GT car bang for the buck IMO. But yes, at that price point, there're obvious limitations, but they don't detract from the driving experience outside of a track :D.
