Picked up my 21 Mustang GT with 1300 miles on it yesterday on the way home every so often the steering wheel would shimmy for about 5 seconds and then stop. I would drive another couple of miles on the highway around terms different speeds and it would start up again shimmy for 5 seconds and stop. Any ideas

you might have drifted out of lane and your lane assist is on. button on end of signal light stalk turns it on and off.

Push the button on the side of the turn signal stalk. It's the lane keeping assist.

I'm new to the Mustangs, but I believe you have to reset it each time. I have to reset my ecoboost every time.

Regarding the lane keeping, if you turn you signal on to change lanes, it opens up that side and won't vibrate and try to keep you in the lane when changing lanes.

Also, if you have track modes, you'll need to turn off the lane keeping in order to go to them in settings.

You'll turn off lane keep assist completely if you push in the button on the very end of the turn signal arm.

I loved lane keeping on my Ranger. Hate it on the Mustang.
