Steering gear buzz

When driving slow, parking lots, etc. Turning the wheel sharp, the steering gear will make a buzz sound very similar to the sound a LINCOLN air suspension compressor - no vibration through the wheel just noise.

Normal for electric power steering.

Yes mine makes a low hum too when turning at low speed. Only noticed it now that it is cold out. I just wanted to chime in just in case others have experienced this. It seems to disappear when the car gets warmer.
