Let me preface this by saying I'm more interested drag racing than twisties but enjoy both and I strut tower brace. Is there a benefit to a k-member in drag racing? Will it be a noticeable improvement.

Which design do you like better? The BMR looks beefier, cost less, and would probably take a little longer to install. The Steeda looks like would get the job done but reduces ground clearance and might weigh less.

As always money not spent here will go somewhere else on the car.:D

Very cool! Although that would eat some serious funds from my supercharger sock monkey

Can't say which is better for drag racing as I have no clue but the BMR brace is on its way to my house now. The design looks way better than the Steeda equivilant IMO.

I think you are talking about the Steeda g-trac brace, right? They don't offer a true K-member setup.

I have the g-trac installed and it made a nice difference in the front-end response and turn-in. I don't believe this makes any difference for a drag race person but for those that track their cars or take mountain roads and the like, this is a great addition and a noticeable improvement after installed.

Edit - I see that Steeda also refers to this as a k-member brace :)

Steeda gtrac brace was horrible fitment for me. I ended up selling it after receiving a 2nd one due to the first one not even coming close to alignment. Went through 2 and both sucked. Will be getting BMRs though.

The g-trac braces are welded on a jig, which means they are all manufactured the exact same way. I find it odd that fitment would have been off.

If you had an issue, I would have been able to help!

I cannot see how up-front bracing is necessary for a drag car unless it somehow aids weight transfer to the back. I'm no expert but... just logically thinking. Adding triangles up front certainly helps manage weight when making turns, don't see how it'll help ata drag strip. Adding triangles in the back to shore up the IRS for drag purposes, absolutely - I see that helping.

Hmmmmm...Did you report to this David? I have not heard of anyone having fitment issues as David mentioned below. They are welded on a jig for precise fitment.

I have heard of people having a hard time installing bracing because their car is all out of wack because they have it jacked up on uneven jack stands...

Thanks for pointers and PMs. I'm going to hold off for the time being and focus my efforts on things that are going to get my down the track faster. And a wing just because haha
