Steeda tune issues

Anyone had any issues with a Steeda custom tune before. I have an airaid mxp no tune and a ford racing catback on a 2016 gt. Runs great on the SCT tune but decided to give Steeda a try. With the Steeda tune the car barely idles and is real lurchy.

I loaded it a couple of different times. Performing an idle learn each time. Also it runs very rich at idle (10:1). Reflashed with SCT tune and it runs fine. Anyone else had an issue like this? I have contacted Steeda and am waiting on a response (holiday weekend). I am thinking they used a tune required CAI profile?

They probably sent the wrong MAF tune .

Either wrong MAF calibration or they sent an E-85 tune because 9.8 stoich on e-85 vs normal E-10 gas at 14.1

Just glad it was rich vs lean since I did a wot pull while driving around hoping it would adjust to the tune.

I apologize for what you are experiencing with your Steeda tune.

Please send me your contact info, order number & tuning sheet that you sent the tune dept.

Our tuners will need to double check the tune that was written, ensuring the tune took into account your current mods.

Ran the new revision today and it is much better! Still wondering what happened. Doubt it was a bad compile or corrupted since the car did run. Big thanks to TJ for getting this moving.

Most likely a button was punched or a mistype of the keyboard. If you've ever looked inside an SCT tune, it's basically a bunch of numbers and gibberish. Pretty easy to make a mistake if you accidentally tap the keyboard just right.

Running a CNC Machine shop I can vouch a single period, or number in the wrong place can cause tens of thousands of dollars in damage...

I hear that, I have seen similar loses in the aerospace world. I bet the variable that sets the maf scaling was "fat fingered" given the rich condition at idle and the open loop performance was ok.
