I started installing the Steeda Tri-Ax Street Shifter this weekend, but have hit a road block. The first road block/challenge, other than working around the driveshaft :headbonk: was getting the lock-out collar over the o-rings, but Rod at Steeda (Pompano) offered some great suggestions
and I was successful in getting to the next step.
Long story short...I can not seem to get into reverse. First I thought the shift knob was too tight, but the lock-out collar will release without help. The spring will stay compressed. Tonight, after work, I will attempt to move forward a bit (garage parked) in first gear to see if it do its things and then allow reverse to be engaged. Just for the record, I would have attempted late last night or early this morning but I know I would have pissed off the neighbors
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated
