While I agree with you that they only fit one way, the botched instructions can easily be a cause of concern for someone that has never installed springs before. I can't speak to the Sport or Progressive springs, but my Ultralites did not even have the pictures of the coil wrapping around the upper mount in the instructions, and the wording on how the spring fits in the upper mount was incorrect. Ultimately, how hard is it to have correct instructions?
I've never done it before but I think I'll install a cam and lifters... how hard could it be anyway???

..Springs....uh let's see, you could lose an eye or fingers or??? If you have never done it before....take it to a shop as it will need a 4wheel alignment after anyway! Just my thoughts! Good Luck!!

If you have a bit of mechanical aptitude, it will be an easy install; if not, pay a professional. Simple

It's actually not difficult at all (a decent spring compressor can make it much easier). Everyone that installs springs had to start somewhere.

Geeeeze.....I've been into cars and hot rods forever!! We did not start out by installing lowering springs! I've Done it all so no problem here!! Just saying that if a newbie is confused with instructions ( even though he may be somewhat mechanically inclined ).......take it to a shop!

Or I would pay for him to install a blower on your car!! No help from anyone, of course:cheers:

Haha! Well, I plan on keeping mine NA, so... :)

I get what you're saying--all I'm saying is that it shouldn't be difficult for Steeda to have correct instructions.

im pretty sure mine are in wrong. haha. I installed them myself. followed the directions step by step (logo up). seemed to not fit the way I was wanting but when I flipped them upside down, they fit like a glove. I chose to follow the directions and put them in the way steeda directed. I don't think its detrimental to my ride quality, but there are a lot of squeeking noises from the fronts. they have been on the car for 4 thousand miles now. still squeeking away but working. im looking into coil overs.

is it bad that they squeak? should I be worried? I am not worried in the least.

I took off my Ultralites and picked up some Eibach Sportlines, and I couldn't be happier. I posted some before and after pics in a separate thread. All 4 springs go in logo side up, and it's easy. The upper strut mounts also fit properly before they go back in the car, which is something I can't say for the Ultralites. I was told by Steeda that the upper mount will only sit flush after the car is settled on the springs, which means it looks cockeyed when you install them.

No problem, you're welcome! I considered the BMR springs as well (I have their sway bars), but I wanted something with a bit more drop and to firm up the ride a bit more. Good luck with the install, I hope it goes well!

Sorry to hear you're having a bad experience. I purchased Steeda Progressives a few weeks ago and now have them installed on my car. I L.O.V.E. them! I personally installed my previous Steeda springs in my 2013 Mustang GT, but due to the 2015 Mustang having IRS, (and because I am now more lazy) I paid a local shop to install the new Steeda Progressives. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones because everything lined up great.
