Can't wait to see some pics! How much clearance is there under the front splitter? I lowered my GT350 previously and while it looked awesome the front splitter scraped everywhere.

My Son has either the Steeda or Roush lowering springs, not sure which on his 19 GT and he drags bottom often, now he wants to change them out. If your a Base I would just go with the CFTP springs.

There is so much more information needed - which springs does he have? If Steeda, does he have the Extreme Springs? Are the springs installed correctly?

When springs are properly installed - they will lower accordingly. If there is a substantial drop, then other suspension changes can take place & you may need to re-correct the suspension geometry.

For anyone on the fence or curious to see how these springs sit, I just had mine recently installed. Here are the results on a base model with the 1/8" spacer provided installed in the rear.

Is the 1/8” spacer specifically for the base car? That thing looks amazing!!!!

I'm pretty sure they are for both Base and CFTP. Steeda includes them with the springs

That looks killer! How's the front splitter clearance?

Soooo not 100% related but kinda.

I’ve run dual rate springs on my GT track car for several seasons and I’ve been very happy with the suspension performance offered. It has a hefty rear weight that the s550 needs. I feel that it is a great value when looking into track oriented performance.

This is not a spring package for people that only do street driving and want a civilized or luxury experience.

Keep in mind my experience is coming from a mostly track oriented set up and a GT owner who’s not afraid of mixing it up with much higher dollar cars.

Your experience and needs may differ

Looks really good. Please let us know if you have issues bottoming out. Also the bronze wheels looks good with that exterior color.

So, how is the ride compared to stock?

I had a hour long drive home afterwards and from what I could tell not that much different from stock in terms of ride quality. It’s more stiff as to be expected when lowering but feels more planted
