Steeda or BMP & why??

I don't think you can go wrong either way.. just watch for mixing and matching.. first mod I bought was the BMR Jacking rails and had to get rid of them because I got the Steeda Subframe Braces and they did not work together.. I have some stuff from both companies... just happen to have more Steeda stuff.

This is the main reason I am asking this question. I don’t mind mixing a couple brands if it gets me what I need, but generally, it seems when you mix you run into fitment issues. So I wanted opinions from people which is the better product. I have always used Steeda, never BMR but only because I knew nothing of them. So like said above by someone else that the Steeda front support hangs down to low while the BMR sits more flush. That is exactly the kind of info I am looking for and appreciate. Same where it seems a few people think the BMR II’s loud with NVH. I am looking for exactly that kind of stuff. I want a nice solid ride, to make it about as perfect as possible without all the negatives. So again, thanks to everyone who is helping with their knowledge.

STEEDA

Why?

They've been in the Mustang biz for 35 years!! They KNOW the Mustang platforms best as far as the components being questioned or researched. They've been around since the ORIGINAL 5.0 movement when Fox Mustangs were slaughtering many brands at all track venues. They race their products with many years of proven results!

They know what works, they know what doesn't. They put a lot of time, research, and development into their products - they're not just spinning them off a welding table and pushing them as "we think" it works.... or selling Snake Oil....

Pricing is fair, customer service is great and if you really research Steeda's past - they are a proven vendor from the start and also a very outstanding winning Team.

Sounds like an ad LOL... and I have absolutely NO affiliation to Steeda other than being a customer and Mustang Enthusiast. I've bought and used Steeda parts since their inception on many of my prior Mustangs - and they were a HUGE vendor and contributor of Corral.net in its heyday - being a Charter Member there, I know their products are not only excellent, but they stand up to their parts quality and performance.

So yea, that's my answer.

Exactly what I want to hear! I too love Steeda and have been using their parts since my 96’ Cobra. Don’t really know anything about BMR so I was curious. Your answer is exactly correct however and made me remember! I may change a couple of smaller parts with BMR just because I like their fitment better on those few parts, overall I think it will be 99% Steeda!

As a benchmark, we have a fleet of Mach 1s in our inventory that we utilize for our testing purposes. I cannot speak on behalf of our competitors, but we conduct extensive testing and research, totaling hundreds of hours, using these vehicles to ensure that the parts we are developing are of the highest quality.

We test all Steeda parts to ensure they work in harmony with each other on the track or on the street.

Right now, we have 20% savings on select Steeda parts - perhaps that will also help with the decision

I have been thinking about sending my car to you to have everything done and make it a numbered car. I am just doing my homework first, but have been working with Steeda since the start, I was a distributor back in the late 90’s early 2000’s and have been calling there so long it used to be Dario answering the phone! So my loyalty is with Steeda 100%, I just saw some cool BMR parts but realized after comparing, many of their parts are just different versions and styles of what you have. I’ve always been happy so I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t doing a disservice to myself without at least checking out the competition.
