Steeda Mach 1 Breakdown

Holy Shit guys, H-pipe on the Mach is an absolute must! Night and day in track mode with all the snap, crackle pops you could ever want!
I did it in a couple hours today on jack stands , 3 beers, and 1 cigar. Moral support and a second jack from my brother.
Only 2 cuts on the hand that I have no idea how they got there.. lol
Do It, No Question!!

But how quiet does it stay when you're in quiet mode? I work 10pm-6am, and I come and go at varying times, and I dont really want to be a bother to my neighbors.

IMO, still nice and quite. Only louder when you give it the beans!

Great job with the install. Just ordered another H-pipe for my brother n law. He went crazy after hearing it.

FWIW, on the Bullitt I owned after putting the Whipple on it, the exhaust in quiet mode was actually quieter and in normal and track it had a sound that to this day was the most awesome exhaust note I have ever heard. Stock active exhaust but that blower...

So, it you are doing FI, wait before you do the H. As for me, I might go for it as I do not think I will FI the M 1.

Not sure that I felt any low end torque but the Bullitt will get getting the Whipple and already has the H pipe.

let us know how you like the sound. I just remember with the Whipple my stock exhaust Bullitt was much deeper and full. Not raspy. I am wondering, did the H pipe make your Bullitt deeper sounding? The stock resonator is actually an X pipe with holes in it covered with that suitcase.
