Anyone running this set up? Are you going restrictor in or out? John from Lund told me to leave the restrictor in but wouldn't that limit the power I'm pulling from the CAI?

I'm running it here along with other mods. You should leave the restrictor in until you get the tune. Once you load the tune up, you can take the restrictor out.

The tune they sent said stock air box in the file name. Maybe I should email them and let them know I am removing the restrictor and to send another tune?

Hmm...this is interesting. I always swore by running a stack on my old carburetated big block drag car, so could this be some kind of validation for Steeda's unique velocity stack/CAI design? It would be interesting to see how Lund and Steeda's tunes differ.

Make a phone call or request new tune via email.
Restricter = no tune
No restricter = tune

Well here is a thought.... If they give a stock tune.... And the steeda with restrictor requires no tune.... Couldn't u run it on lund's "stock" tune?

Yeah could be a 93 octane tune but what's the point? Get the CAI tune

A bunch of people are running Lund's tune with our CAI, Blitz was the first I believe.

Got mine at lethal when they had the xmas sale
LethalPerformance does.
Thanks guys!

When going with the Lund tune and the Steeda intake there's two configurations. One that still uses the insert and the other that doesn't. We will ask you this after you've placed the order when filling out the custom tune request form.

Here's a link to the Steeda intake packages we offer.

For anyone else interested in this combo please feel free to give us a call if you have any questions. 561-753-8105

Thanks, Jared
