I’m good... I didn’t buy tires. I knew they were wrong, but I couldn’t convince two inspectors that they were wrong! I just need to find someone that knows what they’re looking at...
A state inspection isn't going to help you. Download the tire specs and photos of what a new tire looks like.

Unfortunately, the final say when it comes to these events is with the tech inspectors. Usually these guys know what they are doing. I've gotten comments about my tires, my reply is that hey are brand new, because they are.

So I hope you got your money back for the track day and the insurance. I know how much work goes into getting ready for a track event. Its a shame all that was ruined because someone who should have known better had no clue.

Never changed the PA state inspectors minds, but SCCA didn’t mind that they wouldn’t pass Cup 2s with 2K miles on them...
