Hey Julio! It looks like you and I have the same (or very similar) lift. Just curious - have you run into any issues with the mechanical release mechanism? My front locks aren't moving enough to release. -Tim

So, I have an MGW sitting in my basement to install. Do any of you that have an MGW track it? I’ve grown to like the stock shifter and I’m worried that I won’t like the MGW. I don’t drive the car on the road that much… so, track behavior is all I really care about.

Man, this reminds me of my post from last year... I was in a similar situation. My tires and your tires are completely fine - I couldn't (and still haven't) gotten them to pass state inspection, but they were great on the track! Even though I couldn't pass (state) inspection, I had no issues...

Never changed the PA state inspectors minds, but SCCA didn’t mind that they wouldn’t pass Cup 2s with 2K miles on them...

Everything turned out just fine! Fun, first track day in the GT350!

So, the outermost groove was right at 2/32nds, but the other 2 had plenty of tread. I have another set of brand new Cup 2s and that outer groove is shallow and has no wear bars that I can see. They failed them because of the outer groove

Exactly... After some more research, I’m thinking I’m fine with the HPDE. I’ll just figure out a plan to pass the state inspection (not the first time I’ve had to be creative about this ) I have two new sets of Cup 2s... Worse case, they may just end up being my track tires.

I had been waiting since 2015, and decided to pull the trigger once I saw the updates to the 19 GT350 w/ the handling package. Cup 2s, adjustable CC plates, more aero and a back seat for the kiddos.... done. Nothing better at this price point.
