Starting engine

So it may be related to a possible bad gas problem causing loss of throttle response until I let off throttle but has anyone been able to start their car without putting foot on the brake?

I believe for the manuals you have to push in the clutch only but for autos you should have to push in brake. I’m not sure what’s happening so any help is greatly appreciated.

Cruise isn’t available and while at a light it said hill climb assist not available

Found the issue and remedy, within this thread. I’m sure others will need this information. It’s all related to a small yellowish clear plastic piece within the brake assembly
