OK, so a while back I posted about what to do for the watson racing center stack panel and a start stop button. If you dont know when u buy this panel it has no provisions for the factory start stop button. The (fcim) or front control interface module is all one circuit board that includes radio buttons, heat controls, hazards, modes and start stop button. This write up is only for the start stop button not the others. If you plan to buy the watson center stack panel after doing the radio delete or gut the dash you will want to do this. So I figured out how to wire in a factory ford f150 button with normal functions and lighting. go to your local FORD dealer and for less then $50 you can buy these two parts and wire it in.

Ford part # dg9t14c376adw button
Ford part # fl3t-14c210-cb harness

u need to locate the connector c2402b that use to plug into the fcim. It is the 26 pin connector shown below, you can either cut it off and solder straight to the wires or piggy back them totally up to you.

cut off the truck side connector and solder the the following wires together

from start button harness -to- Mustang harness

red wire -to- pin 26 grn-rd bcm power
blue wire -to- pin 12 bn-vt start stop 1
grey wire -to- pin 4 vt illumination
violet wire -to- pin 5 vt led run light
yellow wire -to- pin 13 ye start stop 2
black wire -to- pin 1 bk-vt ground

here is a video of it hooked up and working
