First off I would like to add how nice stainless works headers are made for the 2015 5.0..Welds where nice , header scavenger spike was nicely done A +
This was my first set of mustang headers .. I was kind of skeptical at first doing them on the ground .. Couldn't be to hard , I've been working on BMW's for 6 years couldn't be to hard ...First off I would like to add how nice stainless works headers are made for the 2015 5.0..Welds where nice , header scavenger spike was nicely done A +

Jack up the car I did one side at a time make sure you and the header can fit under the car as one ... Remove the - negative battery cable first ... Remove the starter three 10mm bolts ,one 10 mm nut and one 13 mm. ..next remove the motor mount arm nut a 15mm socket easily accessible from up top ... Jack up on the oil pan with a block of woodin the corner ...I was scared at first but everything was ok no marks or dents Then remove the motor mount arm four 13 mm bolts two have studs with 15 mm nuts on the outside .. Because I have a automatic one was for the tranny lines and ground (note I didn't not remove the motor mout it self just the arms ) remove the cat with pipe use a long extension with a swivel and a 15 mm ..then begin removing the stock manifold three of the 15 mm nuts u can get from the top .. I actually jumped up under the hood ..don't forget about ur O2 sensors plugs ... The rest are achieved from the bottom ...then remove the exhaust studs with a e8 ( note I unscrewed and tightened mine several times until I could remove them with my fingers ) ( I also did the same with the stainless works bolts provided ) how ever I did not remove the very front top stud .. Doing so makes it easy to install you can hang the header on this stud wile screwing a bolt in doing this makes it easer ..
Passenger side was the same except use a t30 and remove the steering shaft swivel joint i did not go inside the car and undo the colum housing ..
