Hey guys, really close to pulling the trigger on a set of headers. Trying to mod on a budget and stay legal regarding emissions, so I am seriously considering the 1-7/8 Stainless POWER longtube headers for my GT.

I know they come with a 2 year warranty and are made overseas, while the Stainless Works are made here and come with a lifetime warranty. Should this be a concern?

For those of you who have run Stainless POWER headers, can you give me insight on their quality, finish, etc.? I don't see how a set of headers can crap out after 2 years...

Also, if I go with the factory connect option, will they bolt directly to my ford racing sport catback?

Would like some honest opinions. Thanks in advance! :clap2:

im extremely happy with the stainless power headers. absolutely no difference in quality. with the stainless works headers your only paying for the name badge on the headers. If you have a moral issue with them being outsourced and built in china then thats up to you, but as for the actual quality of the product there is no difference.

The only issue with the fitment was with the steeda front k-brace, but i was able to make it work.

Whichever setup you choose between SW or SP , you will be pleased.

there was very little (if any) clearance between the headers and the steeda k-brace. I just put a few wraps of exhaust heat wrap around it so you wouldnt hear the vibration.

It also vibrated and rattled against a bolt comming from the frame on the passenger side. All i did was file down the tip of the bolt. Its a little hard to see from the photo.

the stainless power are great quality 304 stainless. the lead pipes are the same usa made pipes as well for the final connection.

exact same pattern as the stainless works, just for less money,

especially with the sale right now, phenomenal deal.

let me know if we can help you out.

we actually helped get stainless works to bring them to market for the 2015's if you look back a few months!

What are those and what they do (what is a benefit of having this thing whatever it is)?

what are what? the headers are made overseas, but the lead pipes are still made here, that connect the headers to the mid pipes

headers are what lets the exhaust gasses out of the car
