A lot of tracks have moved the need for a roll bar to 9.99 and below if it was built past 2008 on a stock chassis car. Partly due to the fact more and more cars run 10s from the factory.

A lot of tracks have moved the need for a roll bar to 9.99 and below if it was built past 2008 on a stock chassis car. Partly due to the fact more and more cars run 10s from the factory.

That's true and the cars are safer in general, but when running at events like NMRA, NMCA & NHRA 11.49 is the requirement, down from 11.99. And at that point a 5/6 point is required. Plus I do not want to crash at 100+ mph without protection.....I can get another car I can't get another me.
