Stainless Power Quality Question

Hey guys, really close to pulling the trigger on a set of headers. Trying to mod on a budget and stay legal regarding emissions, so I am seriously considering the 1-7/8 Stainless POWER longtube headers for my GT.

Is this possible with headers?

Even if you get hi-flo cats, not sure you will pass emissions testing. That said, I don't know enough about the different types of emissions tests, but I'd look into it if it is a concern of yours - before getting headers.

What would be the size of high flow cat I'd need to fit to the $595 model? Is it 3" where the leads would attach?

I've had 2 cars with headers and hi flow cats and never failed an inspection. The only thing that ever made me fail an inspection is tint, stupid NC law.

maybe it is just in California where it can be an issue? I know I've read about guys not getting headers because of the emissions testing.

I may have to deal with a 30% exchange rate right now, but at least no emissions testing. Yet.

they are a high flow version of the cats, that doesn't mean they will pass everywhere, but they should do a pretty good job, they are designed to help with the emissions

Just had mine installed today with off road pipe and with mbrp race exhaust sounds vicious really like the agresive sound.
