Need some help here. Fortunately, I just got setup with Forscan and was going to start tinkering. But before I could do so today, I noticed my airbag light was staying on. So for my first forscan experience, I read the code and am getting fault B1415:93 - "Driver side restraints sensor 3."

Does anyone know of all the sensor locations in our cars? What would sensor 3 be? Google and F150 guides say this code is actually for drivers sensor # 2. I found the front two and two in the back seat on the lower "b" pillar. I'm sure there are two in the rear bumper as well. I have no idea what sensor is what number though. Connections and wiring are okay on the ones I checked. Normally I would just swap sensors around and see if the problem follows, to rule out wiring. But since this is SRS, I'm a bit cautious.

Yes, I probably still have my warranty, but I'd like to avoid dealers if all I need is a sensor or something came unplugged. Thanks for any help.

Well, after some extensive troubleshooting and following the service manual, I found my issue. I did actually swap sensors to start and the code did not change. Somehow I did this when running sub wiring. I must have snipped it accidentally when I removed some wire ties.

Was it an intermitted light or did it stay on between on / off cycles of the car?

This light stayed lit all the time after startup.

I’ve been putting a wrecked 2020 mustang gt back together and have gotten everything fixed and back together except I can’t seem to figure out these last two airbag codes that are keeping the airbag light on. You said yours is driver/passenger side restraint system sensor 3… but mine says sensor 2.. I’ve replaced the two impact sensors on the sides. And erased the codes but the CMDTC still pops up. I’m guessing there is still a fault as I’ve done a couple of drive cycles already and is still there. I’m guessing the regular dtcs have popped back up too. I can’t seem to really find anything online about diagnosing this code. I e checked wiring and it seems like I have no cuts or anything. Idk if maybe the used seats I bought actually are no good and causing this code to stay on. I don’t have forscan so idk if maybe the dealer has to reset these codes. But it’s the last thing I need to do to be able to get a brake and light inspection done to be able to register this car already
