Okay! Who is the ECU pro here. I have a head scratcher I want answered.

in the 2015 GT the SRS gets can signal from two spots... I take it’s to report speed, breaks and all that stuff.
And if you go a aftermarket ECU that will not have factory can do the air bags still work?

would the impact sensors still fire if the SRS thinks the car is not moving.

also don’t care about dash and HVAC working as that is not really there and dash will be a aftermarket screen.

All that is controlled by the bcm. Body Control Module talks to the Powertrain Control Module, Airbag Control Module. With a standalone, if that's what you're referring too, your gonna lose the majority of those features.

Hmmm fun. I’m cool with losing a lot of features.
Most of them are removed anyway or just not used.
But thought it would be nice to have air bags if somthing was to happen.

basically wanting to know.
If the SRS under the centre console will work of a impact body sensor was to trip still even tho there will be zero can data sending to it.
