Hey 6G,

About three months ago I installed some lowering springs (Steeda Ultralites), and I put off getting an alignment done until about a month ago. I still have a problem with it wandering all over the road though. What could the probelm be? I have a PP GT with stock wheels and tires, and Motorsport Tech spacers installed before I had the alignment done. After the alignment, in which all specs were within factory range, it drove spectacularly. However, within a month's range it has all gone to shit. Everything was torqued to spec and no shorcuts taken. Under power, it tugs and "wiggles" slightly left and right, and under braking it has a sharp but minute tug to the right.

Perhaps it's my rear subframe alignment? I've read that the steeda subframe alignment bushings could help get it spot-on. The bolts were taken out in order to get the rear springs on. I'm looking to replace wheels and tires very soon, but could this be a wheel balance issue? I had one replaced with an OEM piece after a curb incedent. Or could this be something else?

Sounds like you have the Marty Feldman alignment. I'd take it back to the shop and have them recheck it. Maybe the front is toe'd out too much? Or not everything got torqued correctly. Nice color BTW!

lmao, I had to google Mary Feldman to understand what you meant.

Fuckin' Igor

This may be the case (hopefully). I know my tire wear is going to shit, but I have Pirelli's to begin with so it's impossible to tell. I just want my handling balance back.

You can check the sub frame alignment by looking at the alignment holes that go through the subframe to the body. Don't have it under load when you check. Use the biggest extension you have to check it. If the subframe is off center it will effect the alignment accuracy of the suspension, as you align the rear first then the front. If it's center find a new alignment guy with better equipment to redo it.
