I come from a 3rd gen Miata and it was amazing how often people would wave, and wave back. Not so much in the S550. Just get stone cold stares in return.

Saw a black GT PP in N. Santa Ana that had rear window covers and a sweet sounding exhaust. Share a wave even though it was a bit dark and rainy.

On my way home I ran across a black GT Premium Vert with license plate USA550GT. Headin' south on the 5 near Beach Blvd.

I saw a black GT PP last night on Cabot Rd in Laguna Hills. We were side-by-side. I waved, but with the his dark tinted windows, I wasn't sure if he or she waved back. It was a nice S550 moment though!!

Saw a ruby red GT350 with black stripes and dealer plates still on in the Shell gas station parking lot intersection off Clinton Kieth today. I waved since I was so stocked to see another local gt350 lol. No wave back as far as I could see since windows were super tinted.

Also the other night I was doing a grocery store stop down the street and met another gt350 owner (white with blue stripes) that happened to live right down the road from me. I went out of the way to stop by his car to introduce myself when he parked since we pulled in at the same time. Not sure if that is over ambitious but it's always great to meet other local s550 enthusiast.

Cool guy had his son with him and his 5 year old son was probably as excited as me to see another gt350

Was also behind a blacked out GT PP with paper plates on my way to work today. Didn't take a picture because...well we all know what they look like!

But, he gave me a wave and thumbs out the side window. Funny thing is that I was in my old Porsche 911...maybe Mustang drivers only wave at Porsches? :lol:

Finally met SC_Ruby! Ironically not on a cruise, but by chance at Hillbank Motorsports. His car looks even more beautiful in person!

I'm on that freeway all the time! That is right where I get on the 5 South, at Valley View.

Spotted two magnetic grey stangs. One an ecoboost who I think wanted to play in Torrance but I had my son in the car so couldn't. Spotted the other magnetic grey one in OC on the 405/22 merger. Both cars sounded very healthy.
