I don't know it's either my ears are not good anymore or the audio volume is too low. I just got my 2021 Mustang Mach 1, connected it to my Pixel 6 using the cable and everything is working fine except the Spotify audio even at max volume is just "ok" not as loud as I would like it to be. I did ensure that the volume on my phone is also turned all the way up but that didn't change anything. Is there some settings for safety that is making the sound this low or is this how it is?

Using the same phone but I don't use spotify over AA. No issues with volume. I use Soundcloud, Amazon Prime streaming, Poweramp or just bluetooth, no issues.

just checked the regular radio and it was much louder. I'm gonna reset my phone to factory settings as it's been ages since I did that anyway

I'm running the Pixel 5 in mine (with cable) and I stream audio from my Plex server at home. Lately it's been working better but the audio has never been an issue just the Plex app itself.

What about the new wireless Bluetooth that came out in January? You can't get them here in Canada yet but in the states Motorola has a new adapter that you can plug into your centre console and leave there then it'll wireless connect to your phone so you can stream your Waze or Music or whatever else you got going on.

I noticed this with my Rogue. The volume is dependent on the actual volume of the phone. When I picked it up I noticed the volume was very low if Apple Car Play and thought wow, for a new car it sure has no volume! I thought the kids are going to be so disappointed. My 17 year let me know lol. He said to turn up the volume on my phone and everything works as it should - loud.

So using Spotify, if the phone volume was very low, the car stereo could be maxed out but the volume was mediocre. But if I turned up the volume on the phone, the car stereo could be halfway and it was too loud for me.

Not sure if AA is the same or not but that was the “fix” for the Rogue.

Good luck! It will be a setting I’m sure.

Right, so I read a tip on reddit which mentions to basically disable normalize sound and the equalizer in the Spotify settings. Will report back

YES!!! That fixed it guys! Turned off normalize sound and toggled the EQ (Equalizer) to OFF in the Spotify settings and now it sounds 3 times louder with punchy bass! WOW!
