Spotify randomly disappears

I have and android phone and Spotify randomly appears and disappears as a source option on Sync 3. It doesn't seem to matter whether I'm connected via Bluetooth or cable. I am not using Car Play.

Any thoughts?

Yes this also happens to me, it would appear that Sync 3 is not displaying the Spotify app in the apps section which would cause that issue. I would also like to know why this happens.

I was having a similar problem with AA disappearing while plugged in via USB cable. Someone suggested I get a better quality cable which i did. Just got back from a 1200 mile trip and with the new cable never lost AA once. Quality seems to be the answer.

Happens to me as well. I just play spotify through bluetooth audio to avoid the issue.
