How many miles can one expect to get out of a set of Sport Cup 2’s in street-only driving?

I managed 11,000 miles with only one North Georgia Mountain Run which had about 2-3 hours of aggressive driving.
The tire shop that replaced them was impressed with the amount of miles I achieved. They are familiar with Sport Cup2's since they service high end exotics. I was down to the wear bars.

I would expect more like 5,000 miles based on what I've seen here. But it all depends on your driving style. I don't think I got 11,000 miles from my Pilot Super Sports.

If you’re talking about the R-spec Cup2, 5k is more likely. 2019 is a harder compound and will last longer.

I've got 5k miles on my '19 currently.. Loving the Cup 2's and they still look fine tread wise. Two NC/TN mtn driving trips in the last month and a half. Recently did almost 400 miles on two lane mountain roads up there. Not agressive driving but I'll call it spirited.. LOL. Tires were awesome.

I got 5000 out of my first set, with 2 track days at the end.

6.3k on mine with one full track day. im Barely up to the wear bar with plenty more dry life left.

I just changed mine at 8k miles with a track day at laguna seca and a couple autox days. My prior cup2s got about 7500.

I could’ve gotten more out of my recent set but don’t want to chance it with rainy season coming up. If I was heading into spring/summer I wouldn’t have changed.
