I was thinking of getting rid of the two center posts since they are too short to reach the trunk.

That looks pretty good man. Is that from a '14 GT/CS?

I'd like to see a duckbill spoiler like the one being designed, just not quite as vertical, and applied with 3m tape...no drill.

I really like the spoiler you've done.. The duckbill I think would look stunning on this car. Best shape I've seen so far and I've been looking for some time.

Two points... To me at least the rivets look horrible.. I know this is a prototype.. But please.. No rivets.

Can it somehow utilze the two hole that are there in the Mustang from the factory spoiler? It would be great if we could attach it using those same holes (and also quality tape for people with spoiler delete).
Keep up the good work. I'm going to hold off buying a spoiler until I see how this one pans out.

GT350 track pack spoiler plz. Not too big, not too small, still aggressive and covers the 9 F'n holes in my trunk from the factory spoiler.

That is perfect! Ford wants something crazy like $1900 for one though

Any updates on this OP? Still can't find a spoiler I like as much as your design.

Hey guys,

I'm in the process of making a spoiler for the S550 due to the lack of options on the market. Nothing was quite what I was looking for so... why not do it yourself. Here are a few preliminary designs and I would like to get some feedback on what the community likes. If the demand is high for these, I can make more. Thanks in advance!

Bump for design 2....or 1. I really think this duck-bill spoiler compliments the rear of the S550 quite nicely.

Unfortunately won't be going forward with this project. To go forward with this the correct way: R&D, drafting up a proper design, engineers, mold making, and production, would put it in a few ten-thousands range. If anyone wants to tackle it I hope they do, I wold love to see it get put into production, I would be the first customer in line =]

Completely understand, bummer as this is the style of spoiler I prefer. May go with the Roush or Track Pack unless something similar to this hits the market this summer.

Thanks for the update.

This is the only one Ive seen so far that I like. And I really do like it. Im not really into the big/flashy ones. I like the smaller low profile ones, preferably in CF.

That spoiler seems to be from Defenderworx. Only place I have seen it for sale is on ebay and below.

I am not a big fan of the spoilers that are currently available right now. Current thoughts are the APR spoiler that was posted in this thread or the gt350r. Was hesitating on both since they may be a little too much appearance wise. After seeing the spoiler in your post, maybe I will go this route and keep it simple.
