Any more pix of this split drop now that it has settled a bit?

I am going to do a split in the next week or so.

Its just that some pix of pro kit drops look perfect and it throws me off.

I would love to see a split drop with some 20s on the car.

I think it looks the same. I just posted a pic in the lowered pic thread in the general chat section. The reason some cars look different are just the wheel and tire packages, my tires are shorter then stock so my gap looks just a tiny bit more but my car sits lower to the ground then those who have taller tires.

Do you happen to know the needed part number Stoli? BMR has yet to release theirs. thanks for the info.

Sportline Front: 414535-F

Basically they use the same part number and add a F for Front and R for Rear. Tricky folks at Eibach. ;)

I had the pro fronts, they do ride slightly better because there is more travel. Springs rates are almost identical, within 5 percent of each other. I think it handles better with the sportline fronts, I would do the sportline rears but I just wanted the car to have a rake, the level stance looks horrible on these cars in my opinion.

I agree car needs a rake. You can achieve rake with 18f and 19r, or 19f and 20r which is what I will do as soon as i can swing the cash. Then I believe you can stick with same springs.

Both of these cars look terrific! Have either of you pushed it hard around a corner yet? I would be concerned about inducing under/oversteer by mixing the rates.

I've pushed it pretty hard, feels neutral to me.

most after market springs rates are about the same. unless you start going specific such as race springs, drag springs, etc. other than that they are generally not that far off from one another, the only differences would be the amount of drop they provide. some may think some springs are harder than others but it may not be the case. it could be they need struts and shocks to provide better dampening for the amount of drop or something along those lines.

The Eibachs are fairly close together, between sportline and prokit, but the delta is considerably larger between either Eibach spring and the stockers (specs below). Sometimes a seemingly trivial spec changes result in big handling changes...sometimes not. The only way to be sure is testing.

I like the rake look on these cars beget than flat.

Also, or cars rears look alot different when in motion than when parked, posing for photos.

They drop a bit with weight of occupants, gas and any other load. Also the IRS makes the rear drop more and squat more as well.

So can we mix the sport line fronts and the pro kit rear since they have pretty similar spring rates? Or would this "look good mod" screw up the handling characteristics of the car

should be fine. on my 12 i was lowered on coilovers in the front and springs in the rear. handling was still good for street driving. front tucked the top of tire a little whereas the rears were about 1/2" from top of tire. my rake was tits! even more so when i changed up my wheel and tire combo to 18" with drag radials in the back!!

I really dislike the squatted rear on the 15's, 1st mfgr who comes out with a rake spring kit gewts my $$. If nobody releases anything soon i'll be forced to buy both eibach kits and then sell off the one i don't use.
