Thanks Jarstang. I, for one, can wait for better video.
I'm not sure what everyone is expecting to hear but I will bet money it just sounds like a deep throated V8.... not gonna sound like an exotic, no way no how.
Ford marketing is probably pretty busy these days. They haven't finished it yet.
The real roof line is much lower. The roof actually cuts that back square window cutout in half. (If that makes sense)OK, I'm no photoshop ninja, but I drew a line along what looks to me like the real roofline. That rear seat will have headroom for no one over 4'
Insurance class.even LESS headroom then. Why not cut the pretense and ditch the back seat?
This works for me. Now I won't be the driver in any situation that has more than two people. Gas saver.Insurance class.
It’s no different with the S197.even LESS headroom then. Why not cut the pretense and ditch the back seat?
This is what I meant by my comment on the GTO rear seat. It’s no different with the S197.
Remember, the backseat sits a lot lower than the front and with IRS in S550 they should able to get the seat even lower as there is no longer a need for the huge transmission tunnel.
I bet it will have more room in the back than the current car.
how does IRS make a difference? The tunnel is there to accommodate the driveshaft. Last time I checked, the Mustang will still be RWD, thus it will still have a driveshaft. It’s no different with the S197.

I'm guessing that the tunnel could be much smaller since you don't have to account for suspension movement.how does IRS make a difference? The tunnel is there to accommodate the driveshaft. Last time I checked, the Mustang will still be RWD, thus it will still have a driveshaft.
