I like to disassemble things.
Gotta love Leno.

Beautiful car. Wing and splitter may be reasonable considerations for those looking to upgrade.

I'm about to get those 1.8lb fenders after hear that guy saying it cost about $800 a piece. Then I realize they cost 2138 for a pair. But they do look good and save so a lot of weight on the front. Wish I have 70k to throw.

So the carbon fiber fender over aluminum is less the half the weight of the aluminum and you think that is worth 2k+??? Hell no!

Agreed, the fenders are probably the lowest delta in terms of weight loss though. Considering they're "less than half the weight of the aluminum fenders", even if the stock ones were 10lbs a piece, that is still over $2K just to save 16lbs.... :eyebulge:

I imagine there are far greater savings to be had from the fenders on back where the body is steel, the doors and rear quarters especially.

If I had the money though I would do it 100% just for the badass look, let alone the weight benefits :D

You know what I hate? Is that they are talking about all these carbon pieces but even on their website they have NO information as to exactly how much weight it saves...

Not to mention all of the individual pieces they have listed there only total ~$16,000.... with the only pieces missing being the roof and rear quarter panels/fenders... even if both of those were $4000 a piece, you still total less than $25,000 for the entire body in carbon fiber...

So they are charging $40,000 in installation fees and a badge? That is just retarded.

100% agreed!!! If I had the spare dough I would most definitely do the entire car. And on a budget I would move on the doors and the deck lid but doors are not available. The light package really is worthless and @ 6k its an insanely expensive option. Their CF deck-lid weigh 7lbs and is only $$$1500. I might be jumping on that.

Hmm 70k and just buy a go kart like a Cayman or Lotus............or still have a 3300ish pound Mustang. I think I pick adding another car to the stable.

It would be badass looking and performing I'm sure though.

Funny, when I searched this morning I didn't see that someone else had posted the same video. Oops!

Oh well, there's a duplicate in the General Discussion thread.
