I would think he would just pull you over anyway, unless he hoped you would do something worse.
Haha yeah, maybe lol. For all I know just a guilty paranoid conscience on my part and all he noticed was a new mustang with dealer plates still on it and decided "Hmmm...let's see what this guy does." I'm usually pretty damn careful of my speeds because even though I don't drive for my job, they still pull our driving records every 6 months because we have a lot of CDL drivers hauling fuel around, and even I'm on their insurance because I guess the logic is even I could be asked to get in one of the company pickup trucks and go pick something up from somewhere. Just don't want that little black mark on my shit there lol. I already got hired with one ticket for doing 10 over and that one ticket a couple years back was enough to make me decide to just stick around 5mph within the posted limits. In a year or two I plan on asking to get my CDL through them. So I was really kicking myself in the ass last night for being inattentive, I'd have been so pissed at myself.

9 you're fine, 10 you're MINE...as the saying goes.

Over 10 shows disregard for the limit. I usually will only do 5 over on most any roadway. Obvious speeding on the back roads twistys would get me nailed though, just lucky. So Far.

Haha yeah, 10 mile leeway I figure accounts for small variances in speedometer calibration and their radar calibration probably. Haha anymore though I'm even paranoid pulling speeding on the back roads with this job. When I go after getting a CDL it'll only make that worse. Aside from black marks with your job, I'm told if you have a CDL your tickets are even more expensive regardless of being in your own personal vehicle or not.

I had my license suspended when I was younger. Tons of tickets. Insurance rates through the roof. Getting married and driving an SUV as a DD got my record clean. So far I've been blessed to not receive a ticket since I got the car in November. Made a pact with my wife, I can get one ticket and not get in trouble. If I get a second one though... uh oh lol.
