I think I just spent the best $60 on the 350 to date by adding a SpeedForm throttle mapper. I had a similar result with my 996 GT3 that was more 'pig-ish' than 'thoroughbred' on throttle response until I tossed a Sprint Boost in mix and now the throttles for both cars more closely resemble a track car where the exhaust nannies have been cut off to allow some heavy breathing.
The instructions state that P2.6 is the 'normal' setting so I rolled out of the garage in 2.7 and it was too aggressive to pull a hill with a cold motor. After driving around for 20 min in different modes, I settled on 2.6 as it gives me a good blip when I h/t downshift but doesn't want to buck rolling off a stop at partial throttle. Curious what others find preferable..
One curious note in the inclosed instructions was a 'manual' setting and an 'automatic' setting in addition to the Eco/Sport/Race modes. Can't find any info on manual or automatic modes...anybody using one of these 2 modes?
