Having just got my car back after importing her from Canada I think I need to change the gauge.

It's a 550 so before the digital gauge. Mine actually shows kph and mph but the mph is in grey on a black background and on the inside at it's hard to read.

So I can see its easy enough to source some replacements. But I'm wondering how hard it is to do it myself? No recalibration needed as the gauge already shows the mph.

Or maybe I can pay somewhere to do it for me. ??

This is what I am after - I see it on ebay and some other sites. Just wondering how easy it is to get to the tachometer gauges.

what does your speedo show the now? I know the UK dials have both mph and kph (inner sweep) shown on them but EU dials / Canadian might only show kph?

My Current Guage is Canadien so Kph on the outside and mph on the inside very small. So that says to me the backing can just be swapped out. ?

So I have the opposite of the UK dials but the innner numbers are grey on black so not each so read and much much smaller.

problem is your odometer will read in kph and any speed related actions taking the speed input might also be kph for example cruise control / ABS / power steering. I think in another thread some folks gave you pointers for garages / specialists near where you will be in the UK so i'd be speaking to them so as to find out how you can change it. Potentially you'll need a complete clock change so as all speed signals are in the displayed unit.

You could of course just remember 100kph is 62mph and work from there with your current display.
