I didn't buy my Mustang based on performance compared to other brands, I bought it because it is a Mustang.
That seems like a pretty stupid reason to buy a car to me. Not because of the car, just because of its name.

I figure that because of its limited production the mark up would stay for the life of the car unless production numbers are increased, but obviously I could be wrong.

When I was shopping for my '13 GT500 I encountered plenty of greedy dealers.I also found some with just a phone call, who were not adding mark-ups. I believe the GT350 will soon be available without the dreaded ADM.

And you're entilted to your opinion. I bought my Gibson Les Paul Standard because it is a Gibson and not a Fender or some other brand. Now, go to some Gibson forum and tell them buying a Gibson just because the name is a stupid reason. It think you'll be told otherwise.

I bought my Glock because it is a Glock and not some other brand. You see many thing are purchased based on name rather than performance. Buy what makes you happy and I'll but whaty makes me happy. That way we're both happy.

One ridiculous action does not justify another.
When I was in my teens I would only buy Chevys and that made me happy. But when I became a grown up I realized how ridiculous that is and started buying the best and it has lead to far more satisfaction.
Buying a product just because of the name is not only limiting on a personal level but leads to stagnation in improvements on that item.

Again I say you're entitled to your opinion just as I am to mine. If you look at the "Family Photo" thread you'd have a slight better understanding of my response and my choice. I am a Mustang fanatic as I said in my very first post and have been since my first car. I like the older F-bodies but personally think both the Mopar & Camaro SUK when it comes to looks and personality. Vette isn't bad if you're into to that.

One ridiculous action does not justify another.
Yes, and that's twice now you've made a reference to my choice as "stupid" and "ridiculous". You might try your own advice.

Yeah, it was. ~ 4-5K per year (except 2007, which was ~ 10-11K). Pretty much what I expect to see for the 350 (4-5K per year) as well.

Then I guess ill give the 350 a chance for dealer mark ups to drop before going and buying a SS. hopefully it doesn't take too long.

I think we may see a special edition in '17MY...perhaps some special paint, wheels and trimming. I doubt much for performance, although they could throw the magneride on from the GT350 (totally feasible for 17MY and would be special enough to justify premium cost for a special edition).
