What type of Spare Wheel is supplied with the V8 GT in the USA?

Is it a Full Size or a Space Saver or a Repair Kit and Compressor?

If it is not a Full Size, is there an option to order the Full Size?

Many new Cars in Australia are fitted with a Space Saver, (limited to 80 kmh - 50 MPH) or a Repair Kit and a Compressor.

The GT PP has a fix a flat pump, and goo.... I assume it's because a wheel and tire big enough to fit over the Brembo brakes won't fit tin the space available in the trunk.

It is optional on all models. But it is a full size wheel and tire.

You do not get the pump and sealant when you opt for the tire/wheel.

It was not available as an option on the Performance Package... I tried to order it with mine and no luck.

None of this is true.

The optional wheel and tire is a space-saver. It is not available on GT PP cars, and the PP is standard on all European vehicles -- I'm guessing that's also true of Australian models.

With the exception of the rear axle ratio, you and I have the exact same car.

The spare wheel / tire is not a full size wheel. It's a space-saver donut. 25 inch diameter tire, 4" wide (all other Mustang tires are 27" in diameter, 8"-9.5" wide). A full size wheel / tire would not fit in the wheel well. It is an 18" wheel, but narrower than the full size wheels and with a shorter tire.

All GTs have the Performance Package if sent to Europe and many also Australia? That seems weird to me.

I read it was to appeal to European driving expectations with handling of particular concern.
