Hi, I have a GT PP 2018 and I think it would look better if the wheel/tire would come out a little more than the factory setup. So I was looking for maybe adding spacers on the 4 corners. But I used my car as a daily even in the winter (Quebec) so I have concern that this will result in throwing more rocks and sand on the side wall of the car and damage the paint on the long run. Is there a size of spacers that give a better look without risking of damaging the paint?

I know there are some that add wheel guard, but I'm not sure I like the look with wheel guard.

Thanks
Stephane

The way the body lines are on the mustang you may increase your chances a little but the risk of damaging the side, especially right in front of the rear tires, are already there. I would run spacers and if you are really concerned, get some paint protection film applied infront of the rear tires. A lot of guys say the 25mm front, 23mm rear is the best wheel spacer depth for PP mustangs. I run 25mm on all four but my rear is cambered pretty good so the poke is not noticable.

You’ll get rock chips on the rear quarter panel in front of the rear wheel if you run an aggressive offset. Some film protection would be a good idea. The rest of the car (door, front quarter panel) seem fine. Speaking from experience and ~40k miles of running non-stock wheel offsets.
