It's now apparently spec'd for 5w30 and has a smaller sump. It also is coming with my favorite (sarcasm) piece of tech, cylinder deactivation.

My spitballed theory is that cylinder deactivation gives the f150 the mpg gains that they tried to inch out with 5w20, so now they can spec 5w30.
