Just found this on my daily R search on YouTube.

Lol - I'm the one that left the comment about removing the spacers. Crazy that this catches the service departments by surprise... don't the read? Don't answer that.

That's what y'all paid the extra $5000-$10000 ADM for. Sad that it's marketed and sold as a halo car with special race car features, but the dealers turn them over to customers like they a buying a $15000 Fiesta. I feel for you guys. Great heads up from the OP
thats really on a dealer by dealer basis. the dealership that i bought my tech pack from treated it like it was a $250K Ferrari. Could not be happier with how they treated me, the car, and continue to treat us both.

SSM 45780 - 2016 Mustang GT350-R - Driver Selectable Suspension Malfunction Service Required Message With Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) C103E
Some 2016 Mustang GT350-R vehicles may display Driver Selectable Suspension Malfunction Service Required in the instrument panel cluster message center along with DTC C103E:00 when driving with the spacer blocks removed and less than 160 Km (100 miles) on the odometer. Check the vehicle dynamics module (VDM) for the latest calibration using integrated diagnostic system (IDS). Make sure you are connected to the internet when entering module programming to obtain the latest updates. Calibration files may also be obtained at www.motorcraftservice.com. Raise the vehicle on a hoist, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 100-02. Suspension must be unloaded with the wheel/tire assemblies hanging down. Perform the ride height sensor calibration routine. Follow the instructions in the IDS scan tool.

There is no need to recalibrate the mag-ride when the spacers are removed, its not part of the PDI process either.

I just returned from a local Mustang car show held at Santa Rosa Airport in California. Besides a lot of classic Mustangs and other muscle cars on display, there were several new Shelby GT350s. My first time seeing a striking AG non-R, and an OW/w blue stripes R.

That R happens to be the $150k+ I posted the other morning from Hansel Ford. It has 27 miles on the ODO - said they trailered it to the show - and guess what? It still has the spacers in the suspension. I pointed this out to the sales rep who was thankful, and a short while later another, 35 yr employee came to me interested in what else I thought needed attention - like the splitter. He was very interested!

Anyway, got to sit in and hear the exhaust not of what is as close to my car as it can be. It was SWEEEEET!!

Bumping this old thread as my dealer is unable to get the suspension fault code to clear (C103E). Ford is finally getting involved but it's been a fricken week of them trying! All spacers are out, they have tried multiple times to calibrate and used the TSB. They have just ordered a ride sensor as one of them looked a bit stranger than the ores.

Very frustrating! Been waiting a while for is car, it finally arrives and the dealer can't finish the PDI!

I'm so glad this thread was awakened.

My R should arrive in a couple months and I think I will have a little premeet with the GM and tech that will be handling the PDI
