I tried to clue the V8 section in on this device and all they want to do is argue about how it works, waste of money and your foot can do the same thing for free. Of course, the ones saying this have never owned a device like this. I just happened to see a new thread started about the Pedalmax. I like to help people out whenever I can.

One thing for sure is your foot is not faster then electrical current,I too have read the same stuff, push harder on peddle, push peddle down faster, waist of money a tune does the same(my tune never got the memo I guess)blah blah blah. What gets me is 99.99% of the no Sayers have never tried it but are just going off of what someone else said or their lack of knowledge. Some 5.0 folks think they are all that and look down to the V6 folks but there are us v6 folks that also own 5.0s and all get along,I'll put my SN95 GT 5.0 up to most newer 5.0 cars but I don't brag about it,I just happen to like the V6 Mustang for what it is. Friday can't come soon enough.

Review of the PedalCommander for my 2015 V6 Mustang.

INSTALLATION: Very easy. Disconnect battery, disconnect the wire from the pedal, plug in the Pedal Commander, reconnect battery and go. You will have to contort your body to reach the back of the pedal. I have very minimal experience working with cars but I found this very easy.

INITIAL RESPONSE: I put it on the very highest setting (Sport+, level 4 sensitivity), backed out of the drive way, shifted to 1st and hit the gas... I thought I was going to crash. My heart was beating so fast because I wasn't expecting acceleration to be that instant. The Flowmasters screamed right away instead of building up.

There are 4 modes to the controller: Eco, City, Sport, Sport+
ECO: haven't tried it yet, but you guys didn't come here to read about Eco-mode.
CITY: this mode felt like the stock throttle sensitivity, it had a bit of lag and was very tame...but i know this is also not what you guys came here to read about
SPORT: this is probably the mode i'll be driving for a while, it's tame but the response is significantly quicker than city and/or stock, there is no lag and acceleration is instant. It actually felt really good to drive in the sport setting, very responsive and take off is very satisfying. You will get pushed back into your seat.
SPORT+: violent. I smoked the tires without intending to, I jerked the car everytime I shifted into 1st and shifted into 2nd, I almost spun out on my very first take-off. It will take me a few days to get used to the shifting on the sport+ mode. As far as the response, its very instant, you will not expect it because you are used to the lag so be very cautious when first trying out this mode. That instant response is very exhilarating, you'll get 100% throttle without even reaching halfway, and it brought life to my little 3.7 Pony. I was violently pushed back in my seat and realized, this is how my Mustang should feel

IS IT WORTH IT? if you are not planning to tune, then most definitely yes. This might even be the only mod that some people will need. For a $300 mod that increases driver-experience and doesn't void warranty, it's incredibly worth it. I instantly felt all the brunt of that 280lbs of torque and it was beautiful...and frightening. My 3.7 actually feels like it deserves the Mustang name (even though its not a V8).

These Throttle Controllers could be very game changing and I am actually very surprised that they are not that popular. One thing I was afraid of is that PedalCommander isn't really known in the Mustang community so I didn't know if I could trust the credibility of this company, I called them up earlier today to get some more info and they mentioned that AmericanMuscle.com agreed to sell their product so they will be on the website pretty soon, made me feel a bit better about my purchase.

Anywho I hope this review helps you guys out. Thanks Southview for the coupon and for all the help. Racinreddy & Ranger, I know one of you guys ordered it too so I can't wait to see your review.

Thanks for the review, more then I'll write but writing/typing isn't my thing....so what your saying is the sport mode is the safest to remove lag and if ya want to buy tires sooner then later Sport+ is where you want to be,so,ok,what Sport number are you in plus or negative?

Looks like I'll be next to say something about it in the form of a review.

Having a money back guarantee says something and just that much more if AM starts selling them.

Pretty much...on the instructions it tell you sport mode is for spirited driving and sport+ is for racing purposes...i was on (sport+)(+4 response) which is the highest and it really is for racing purposes, its really responsive. The regular sport mode on any of the response levels is nice because it eliminates the lag and youll have a quick take off, once i get used to the shifting on sport+ ill probably start using that. But for now im just gonna enjoy being lag free. Cant wait to drive to work tomorrow lol.

Good job Hertz. Great write up! Be careful Ranger. I have an auto and sport was a little much for me. I had to back it down to city. I suggest you start there and go up. Don't want to read about you hitting something. You will be very surprised like Hertz. START WITH CITY!!!! (haven't steered you wrong yet)

Thank you for the informative review. I'd like to hear a follow up in say 60 days. You will certainly have gotten used to it by then.
Looking forward to Ranger's thoughts as well.
$$ back guarantee makes this a no lose trial (if one doesn't rear end someone testing it).
One thing I want to try though is to remove the intake tube & watch just how my TB reacts when accelerator is moved. Maybe that and these reviews will convince me.
Thanks again

Lol that excitement is worth it. Sport+ is crazy, if you ever seen those drag races where they strip the car to be really light and the take off is so fast, its just like that.

I just finished driving my car to work and had it on the regular sport mode at +4 response. Man its such a great feeling to accelerate now, although my mpg started going down lol.

You should be just fine with a 73 TB,if it runs fine now and you just have the common throttle lag it will do what it's designed to do,you could always put the stock 68 back on and if your happy with that setup just sell the 73 and use that money to replace what you spent on the commander or put it towards the MPT SCT tuner it's a win win then.
