For you information, my car payment is literally a days pay so think about who you are insulting before posting this garbage.

FYI, Honda Civic type R are selling for 50k. My brother in-law works at a Honda dealership and they have sold 7 of them for 50k each. Base GT he says.

Haha I was on a cruise so couldn't keep up with this thread, but ended up pretty good! I figured it was rentals as they were all identical, and yup all convertibles. Hell I didn't even think of visiting Steeda! Too bad I was only in Miami for a day. We had a huge military reunion. Too busy drinking lol

I rented a base v6 convertible for the drive from Miami to Key West a few weeks ago. It's not my GT350 but still a fun car. I decided to count stangs vs Camaros while driving. It was almost 20 to 1 in favor of the Mustangs. Most of which were base model (maybe 3 GTs) and most convertibles. I must have counted 200 or more just on the drive back to Miami.

I would not bash on anyone for driving a Mustang of a different trim level. I love all Mustangs that's why I rented one.

As a native.. yes, they are mostly rentals. In case you've been living under a rock and are not aware, Miami is a major tourist destination, there isn't much industry here and the majority of work is service based economy reliant heavily on tourism.

South Beach is crawling with rental (mostly) convertible v6's and ecoboost.. that doesn't mean there isn't an enthusiast culture, away from the beaches in the burbs and the city where the actual citizens live there are tons of modded S550's.. I personally see more GT's than any other trim. I've seen practically every model of stang on the streets from GT500 to RS3's, GT350's, Boss 302's, Terminators, Mach 1's, SN95 Cobras, fully built fox bodies, 70's, 67's, Eleanor replicas etc etc..

There is a huge car culture in Miami, it just isn't that organized Lol.. so many different people with different likes and dislikes there isn't one major group or event there are smaller clubs and parking lot meets.. Cars and Coffee had been dead for a while but it's making a comeback, there's Wings and Wheels too which is nice.

Me personally I don't mind it at all.. I didn't base my decision to own a Mustang on how unique it is, I got it because I love it.. and when my insurance premium becomes reasonable I still hope to get a GT manual.. Lol. Base model too.. I'm not Mr. Money Bags, the cost of rent for a small apartment in this city could buy you a nice estate in most places in the midwest.. it's ridiculous.
