Hey guys I was wondering who's driving out in the snow today. I need to get some booze but I'm not sure the car will make it. What y'all think?

I've been driving in the snow since I got mine about 2 weeks ago. It's the stock wheels on the 15 pp.

You do need to put it in wet mode and you need to pay close attention at intersections. Stop a ways ahead and then make good and sure you have enough momentum to get on the main streets or you're going to get stuck

If you do get stuck you may need to take it out of wet mode because it will stop the rpms a little over 1k in first. Reason being is sometimes you can eat your way to pavement , back and forth, back and forth till you have enough patch to get it's momentum going.

Be careful you don't hit a curb (I did, thought it was just snow)

Swing a little wide to the left when making a right hand turn so you're more pointed to the direction you want to be going and easy on the gas so your back end doesn't swing out.

Don't attempt any hills.

Trashed my pzeros a few weeks ago and have set of BFG comp2's now. First time ever I looked forward to driving my car in he snow today. Did pretty good in light snow driving in from Virginia to DC. I would never even considered driving with the Pirelli Pzero summer tires in the snow, not safe for you or others sharing the road.

Just swapped out to a set of Blizzaks and drove on a tiny bit of snow on friday. Solid :headbang:

Forecast is for snow next week so I'll know more soon.

I also dumped the PZero summer tires a few weeks ago for BFG Gforce Comp2 and drove from Manhattan to the Bronx today to go to work. Took it easy, put it in snow/wet mode and not bad. Skidded a little but was going slow enough to correct the slide. Probably wouldn't have gone out if I didn't have to.

I avoid going out and I use my wife's Subaru when I can but, I'm still gonna drive this car in the snow. Snow tires are a must for any car IMO.

North Dakota winter? bring it old man winter......

i sure have seen a lot of full size pickups and suvs in the ditch guess how many times ive been stuck or in a ditch?

ZERO! :)

I swear by Nokian Hakkapeliitta snow tires! I look forward to fresh snow and trac off when ive got a little room to play.

Normal driving i leave it in normal mode trac on i dont even use wet/snow the nannies drive in insane all the nannies and control i need is with my right foot!

Ill post some pics up when i get home. Out in Bismarck for the weekend. Current temp -20 before windchill.......

I hope to NEVER do a other winter without snow shoes on my vehicle.

Tempted to go put a set of these on my wifes 2016 AWD Ford Edge too.

Try Nokians youll never go back to blizzaks i promise.

Nearly 38 degrees centigrade here - bloody hot. Never seen snow not sure I want too. All you do is look for a shady spot to park.
