Sliding in leather seats?

I am planning to upgrade my cloth seats to leather. I love how the cloth seats keep me stable throughout turns and spirited driving and would like to maintain that when I go to leather. I plan on getting cardinal seats with suede inserts but cardinal is not available in suede and red doesnt look right after receiving samples. Does anyone find themselves sliding a bit? ive read some thread where some with premium models wish they couldve gotten cloth. Any insight is welcome. Thanks

I slide a bit, but I'm also a bigger guy. I do slide less when I actually use my seatbelt. They are clearly more about comfort than grip. If I were a thinner guy i'd have gotten the recaro's.

My aftermarket seats (Alea) in my coupe aren't slick, and they got even gripper after I applied Lexol. My convertible has Ford leather, and they're a bit slick, but I haven't put anything on them yet.

I don't slide around at all. But, with my fat ass snuggled down in the seat, it takes alot to slide me around!

Forgot that the weight of the driver does matter so the feedback will be different. I'm 6'1" and 225 on a good day.

So I take it that leather recaro vs leather bucket seat ...the recaro would secure the driver better? Because of the bolsters

I haven't had a vehicle with cloth seats in decades and do not have a problem with sliding around. (6'2", 203#)

My best friend (RIP) bought his first car when silicone spray first came out. ('63 Ford Galaxie)
Someone on the car lot had sprayed the seats in his car with silicone.
He came over to my house to pick me up as we were going loafin'.
First curve I was sitting under his arm before I knew it.
Was always a good way to get a girl to sit close if she wouldn't move over.

Today's bucket seats, I don't seem to have a problem with sliding around with either
leather or cloth. (wife's Jeep has Leather seats)
