Sirus/ipod consistent skip/hiccup every 5 min

is it normal to get a sound hiccup every 5 minutes or so with sirus/ipod?? doesn't happen when listening to fm stereo

plugged in, but happens for satellite too. this is 100% consistent.

2016 does this as well

My 2016 Mustang Gt does this as well. While listening to Sirius its been cutting out alot like loss of reception.

Eliminate the variables,
Does it happen with iPod via USB or aux/phono? both?
Does it happen when you connect the same device via Bluetooth with no cables hooked up?
